Remedy Low Water Pressure

TDT Plumbing utilizes hydrostatic testing to isolate a water leak when a municipal facility’s pipe is experiencing low water pressure. Our hydrostatic leak testing of pipe, pipelines and vessels exposes defective materials that are preventing the system from operating at design pressures, expose possible water leaks and serve as a final validation of the integrity of the constructed system. This testing method can be used on piping, tanks, valves and containers with welded or fitted sections. Hydrostatic testing can be a nondestructive test as well as used as a burst test.

The key factor to receive accurate results from a hydrostatic test is an experienced technician must conduct the test. If the test ball is not positioned within the pipe correctly, inaccurate results are common.
